A long span rack is a heavy-duty shelving structure made from cold-rolled steel, engineered to support loads across wider bay widths than conventional shelving allows. The name refers to the ability of each shelf to span a longer horizontal distance between uprights, typically ranging from 1200 mm to 2700 mm or more depending on the configuration.

The structure is made up of vertical upright frames and horizontal beam shelves that lock into place using a slot-and-clip or bolt connection. The uprights have punched holes at regular intervals along their height, which means shelf levels can be adjusted up or down easily as your storage needs change.
